Nintendo Switch Predictions

Unless you are living under a rock you are aware that Nintendo will be hosting an event on January 13th in Japan to share all things Nintendo Switch. Nintendo revealed the brand new Home/Portable Hybrid console via a video back in October.

Nintendo has said very little about the Switch since the reveal in October citing that they will share all of the details at the January Event. We are now just a few days away from finding out all that Switch has to offer so I thought I’d run down my final predictions for Switch here.

2016 Game of Year

2016 has been an interesting year. There has been a vocal argument that it might be one of the best video game years of all time. For me, I think that 2016 was filled with a lot of good to really good games, however there were few great games that were released. I think it’s very far from one of the best years of all time. Even so, there was a lot of good stuff to play this year. With that said, here are my top 5 games of 2016.

E3 2016: What Was Missing from Microsoft’s Press Conference

E3 always starts each year with press conferences by a handful of the biggest publishers. It allows developers and publishers to showcase their latest and greatest video games for the near future. During E3 2016, Microsoft opened their Press Conference with an impressive demo of Gears of War 4, and then closed with the announcement of Project Scorpio. In between were new features, release dates, and, as always, amazing games. Even though I feel that Microsoft had a very strong show, there were still a few things missing from the conference this year.

E3 2015 Games to Watch – LEGO Dimensions

Traveller’s Tales have been making LEGO games since 2005, starting with their very first game, LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game to their most recent release of LEGO Jurassic World.  In that time they have developed one of the most accessible and fun 3D Action Platformering experiences on consoles today. The next game in the series, LEGO Dimensions, is the most ambitious title so far and, if early impressions are to be trusted, it may be their best.
